Alienation Abuse – Exitcirklen

EXITCIRKLEN is an organisation that helps both victims and perpetrators of psychological abuse — supporting victims in moving forward and helping perpetrators break harmful patterns of behaviour.

For the team behind the film, it was important to show in a clear and tangible way what this new concept, alienation abuse, can look like.

It is a form of abuse in which one parent, often following a separation or divorce, attempts to alienate the shared child from the other parent.

It is a deeply uncomfortable subject, and we developed the script ourselves in close collaboration with Exitcirklen’s experts.

We sincerely hope that our film production and short film about alienation abuse can make a difference for people experiencing it.
